RECENT DELIVERIES

  Since 1991, Fire Equipment Services (FES) has designed and customized more than 150 fire trucks to fit the geographical needs for fire departments throughout the southeast. FES specializes in building and refurbishing fire apparatus including rescues, tankers, pumpers and aerials. Special custom sheet metal fabrication is also available for customers in North Carolina and South Carolina, Florida and Georgia.

FES single wall aluminum 10 foot rescue body designed for limited extrication use on Ford 2003 Super Duty chassis delivered April, 2005. Gortite roll up doors; Power Arc light package. Unit custom designed for future addition of 225 gallon skid unit in rear.

SWAT/WMD vehicle delivered Feburary,2005.FES 18 ft. 3/16 inch aluminum body with custom two floor design on 2005 International chassis, ROM doors, Dometic automatic awnings each side; Whelen LED light package, 8 bottle 6000 psi ascade system with fill station, refrigerator, 25,000PTO generator. Specialized design withmultiple tool boards, pull out trays and individual storage for each SWAT team member's equipment.

Two 3000 gallon wetside tankers on 1996 International 8200 chassis delivered September 2004. UPF 3000 gallon tank with dual 2500 gallon drop tank storage on sides. Hale "Chief" portable floating fire pump on drivers side pre-plumbed for on and off truck use with Float Storage.  Underbody boxes, Power Arc/Code3 warning package and electric stainless steel dump with 90 degree FES chute in "thru the tank" compartment.

South Lynches FD Rescue

Delivered July, 2004. 2004 International 4400 with 250 HP diesel engine. 16 foot aluminum walk around rescue body
with upper level storage, roll up doors, Federal Q siren, 15000 pound Warn winch in extended front bumper, 9500 pound Warn movable winch with three winch points; 25000 watt PTO Onan generator, Wil-Burt light tower, FRC focus lights (body), FRC Tripod lights (rear), four bottle cascade system; Zico Quick ladder for roof access on side, rear compartment with extrication equipment.
